Future Developments and Opportunities for Our Family Businesses
Both of my family’s businesses—the moving company, Integrity Movers, and our estate sale company, Two Sisters Estate Sales & Services—are improving their operations every day. This class opened new ideas for me, and a lot of what I learned pushed me to look at our businesses differently. Even with a small team, there are real opportunities ahead of us, especially when it comes to leaner workflows, sustainability, and technology like AI. Sustainability in Small Business Operations Sustainability is already part of our core operations. At Integrity Movers, we practice sustainability by reducing emissions on our trucks. We installed phones with Google Maps so every route is either the fastest or the most fuel-efficient. This saves time and protects the environment. We also believe strongly in reusing materials.
